Assignment#28

I think Japan has many polite cultures. Japanese people usually use polite expressions with a person who outranks one. When I meet a parson for the first time, I use an honorific word. If become good friend with the parson, I don’t use peer language all the time. There is no doubt that I use peer language with my parent, my grandfather and my grandmother. Japanese culture has honorific language and deferential language and polite language. Therefore I think Japanese people watch their language. You can judge people by the way they speak. A way of talking is important in Japan.
I think a parson who can say hello to everyone is polite. In American, I heard “Good morning” “Hello” “Good evening” “Good night” “Good bye”. However there are a lot of greetings which is became a habit in Japan. I say “Itadakimasu” before I eat a meal, and I say “Gochisousama” after a meal. As I have explained, Japan has many customary greetings. Japanese people can make good use of it. I think Japanese people are polite!
