Assignment#28
I
think Japanese culture is very polite. For example bow to everyone, honorific
words and Japanese people are considerate. First Japanese people do bow. It is
very important manner. For example I met elder, I bow down to elder. We usually
used bow. However, another country people doesn’t use use bow. Bow is only
japan. Next Japanese people use honorific words. There are three types. For
example, sonkeigo, kenjougo, teineigo. Honorific words is used to show respect
for the person you are speaking to elder. However I speak in casual talk and
friends. We don’t use honorific. I think Japanese honorific is beautiful and difficult.
Foreigners say honorific is so difficult because so many words. Finally, Japanese
people have considerate. For example maybe Japanese people don’t say “No” because
Japanese people is very kind. Compassion is a characteristic of Japanese. I miss Japanese
culture when I came to United State. I love Japanese culture and I think
culture is important things.
