I think if you get 100,000 dollars, you can
buy everything you want now. However, you should save money because you can
spend 100,000 dollars soon. I do not know if you are good at saving money, so
if you can save money, I think when you want to use money, you should spend
money. Anyway, I have two idea. First, you can donate money to Cambodia because
there are no schools in there. You can build some schools in Cambodia. If you
do that, Cambodia will be helped by you and you will feel good. Second, you can
travel all over the world and you can find a lot of new world. If possible, I want
you to take me somewhere together. I can make you fun and excited. These are just
my idea, so you can choose. If I get 100,000 dollars, I use the money for fun. I

I would give some advice for you. If I won
100,000 Dollars, first I would save almost money and I would make a donation to
people in poor countries. It is most important things. I hope I want to help a lot
of people as much as possible. Also I want to go to around the world. I can see
a lot of things if I get much money. I think the impression and knowledge which
I get in my life are more important than money. I want to spend a lot of fun
time by using this money. I want to meet my favorite artists. However I think
happy life is more important than money, so if I have a lot of money, does not
make sense if there is no fun. I want to send a fun life with or without money.

Today’s assignment is very interesting and
made me think a lot. I have three advices for how to use the money. Please
choose yourself. You can choose three styles. The first thing is “save money.”
This is because using a lot of money at once is not good and there are risks
that you might lose your money if you keep it by yourself. The second way you
could do is to donate that money. If I got that money, I will donate all 100,000
dollars to poor people and developing country. There are a lot of children who

for the future. I think you can use other money for various things. For
example, go on a trip to various places, to buy a car, and have plastic
surgery. It was just a joke. At any case, you should buy things profit to

I came in America, I feel I realize the
difficulty of English and I realize the difficulty of making friends. In Japan,
I always speak to new friends, so I can make a friends soon but, I’m in America
where people couldn’t understand my language. I cannot speak English well, so I
cannot communicate easily each other. I think most important things is greeting
and smile because to make a good initial impression is important, so when I
meet American, I will try speak to American. For difference way, to joy some
events are very important so I will try and do through event. My American
friends are not many so far. My goal is to make many friends in America. I want
to be actively like American. I’m so glad because American say to me anytime. “Hi!!”
or “How are you?” I want to learn from American a little too. Don’t be shy!

do not talk much to people I met for the first time because I am shy. However,
I want to be friends with many people. I said my name, my hometown and my
hobby. However, I listen to Hometown in the beginning and listen to the hobby. I
can talk a lot with people who hobby is fit. I was able to many friends since I
came to America. Americans is bring smile to us. However, Japanese people is
not bring smile to me. It is a little sad. Therefore it is no hesitation to

I usually do not tell a new friend about myself. However, when I
meet American or people from another country in UAFS, I definitely introduce myself
and use handshake because I think it is usual greeting style in America. Mainly,
I introducing about my name, birthday, country, hobby, family and university.

me to tell American people myself in English, but I always speak English as
hard as I can. Also, I can practice using English. Then, I am able to know
about the person’s country and culture and so on. It is very important for me

Today, I will introduce effective way to meet new people in here. I have met many people from different countries since I came here, but I was very shy, and I couldn’t speak English very well, so I still have not found effective way. I would like to make new friends, but I couldn’t talk with them, and so I thought about effective way to meet new friends. I believe most important thing is a smiley face at first meet. In japan, every time I see somebody, I care a smiley face certainly. Smiling is international sign for happy, so it makes everybody happy, but just it isn’t made new friends. Therefore, we have to greet somebody at first meet, so we should learn greeting and self-introduction, and we should greet and give a self-introduction. In America, when you meet somebody at first time, it is said that all people shake hands often, so I think I would like to try it.

Smith since we came here. It is difficult to talk with a person who met first besides;
it is more difficult to talk in English. I cannot translate sentence what I want
to say from Japanese into English. I always feel it to be irritating. However, I

person whom I met on a way. I keep it in my mind every day. All most people say
hello too with a smile. Mari told me that If say hello, we are friend already.

name is difficult for me, and I think probably Japanese name is difficult for

Japan, we don’t smile at a stranger. However they break into a smile and say “Hi”
just having eye contact in America. I was surprised this habit, but I think this

university student who I don’t know. After that, I made friends. I think I need

I meet new people every day. First I met people to
airplane and commons. They were very kindness for us. Therefore we spent school
life we meet a lot of university students and teachers every day. So I usually
approach for them, for example, when I am greeting someone, I always say “hey!”
or “hello!” keep in mind. In that way I am taking communication. I like to talk
so I become a good friend to meet some place on Campus we meet next time a lot
of talking together. I suggest to this. Because I want make some American

When I meet a new person in Japan, I exchange just
greeting, so I am unable to get along with a new person. However, in America,

become friends soon because of their actions. The actions are a handshake, a
hug and introducing their own information. Before I came to America, I think I
was kind of shy, so I did not do any actions, but after I came here, it is not
embarrassing for me to use body action. Every day, I meet several people in
UAFS and talk with American people or people from another country. My Japanese friend
who is a UAFS student always gives her friends hug. From now, I want to try some
American styles greeting and meet many new person in UAFS. For that, I do not

Assignment#15
I am afraid of getting old because I cannot
be getting a new discovery. I have some idea. For example, I want to be Peter
Pan because he is not getting old and he is always young. I envy him. While I
am young, I can always have a dream which I want to do in the future. Of
course, old people can also have their own dream, but it has limit of range and
it is difficult for them to get the dream they really want to get. However, I
think that if I am not able to be getting old, it is so boring and too simple.
Now, I am young, so my action is restricted by my parents and so on. When I am
getting old, my action will be free and I can do everything. Both of young and
old people have good points. However, I am still afraid of getting old.

I don’t want to get old because I
think I lost liberty more than now. I get old when maybe I have husband and son
or daughter. If that is the case I have to housework and look after children. I
feel uneasy because I think I can’t become mother at this time. Next, I don’t
want change look especially skin and hair. I want to stay beautiful skin and
hair forever. I want to live in an unconventional way. I don’t want to use time
to it. I use time to fun thing. I think my life is short so I always will do

Recently, I feel I am getting old because, four
months later, I will be 20 years old. In Japan, 20 years old is adult, so we
can drink alcohol from 20 years old. Actually, I am really looking forward to being
the age, but I am worried about my future. Therefore, a little, I am afraid of
getting old and I do not want to be getting old. Now, I can enjoy myself every
day since I am a university student. I can do everything, for example, part
time job, taking classes and making many new friends, while we are young. I
have many things which I want to do and I need time much more because I have to

I’m not afraid of getting old, because I
take getting old granted. However I think I don’t become a person who doesn’t
know common practice, and I want to live a fulfilling life. I am twenty years
old this year. I have already been twenty years since I was born. I had gain

content for me, but I feel first to here. Now, I must do many things. I must go

afraid to getting old. I think adult is very busily. It looks like there is no
freedom. I will be 20 years old in August of this year. In
japan adult age is 20 year old. I come of age, all problem is my responsibility. I
am anxiety because, my parents take care me until now. It is in my help. I want
to be spoiled parents forever. Next, I'm afraid that the current environment is
lost. I'm a college student in J.F. Oberlin now and I have come to the America
now. Such experience is just now things. I want to cherish the time like this
and I want a lot of time. I think once in a while, I want to one day hours 48
hours. Then, I would be able to many things. Finally, I am afraid to die. Life
is very long but I will imagine that me die. But, however, I am really looking

afraid to getting old and scared of getting old. Because I got freedom when I became
entranced at university. My high school rules is so strict. I have to obey high
school rules. For example, we shouldn’t dye our hair, we have to come straight
home after school, we have to wear a knee length skirt, etc. Sometimes I broke
the rule. If I broke rules I receive a penalty. so I can dye my hair, I can
wear my clothes now. I became 18 years old, I went to driving school and I got
driver’s license. So I can drive car now. If I will 20 years old, I can drink
alcohol, I can go to vote, I can smoke. So I think I grown up adult, I can do a
lot of things by my self, at the same time, if something happens, I have to
take the responsibility. So I’m looking forward to get old!!!

I don’t afraid of getting old rather than I
want to be grown-up early. I’m 18 years old yet so there are too much things
that I cannot do, but when I become 20 years, there are too much things that I
can do. For example, I will be able to drink alcohol, I will be able to marry
without agreement with parents and I will be able to get many qualification.
And then I can take part in various party. How amazing! I don’t want to get old
anymore. I want to keep twenties forever, but I am feeling recently “I have
aged” because I tried to jog just a little bit, but I got out of breath and I
fall asleep easily while hung out with everyone at night. I think it’s really
afraid of getting old. My face looks older in Japan, but I’m seen as young in

getting old, I believe all people are also afraid of this, but I think I’m interested
in this because getting old is that I gain a great deal of experience.

were born to have equality, and we grow up with that I gain experience from a
young age, and we become weaker. We don’t know the boundary between childhood
and adulthood, so growth of human is very interesting. I feel getting old is
like race with time, I mean about race with time is that our body and brain becomes
progressively weaker but time don’t wait us, so we gain a great deal of experience
as soon as possible. In order to do that, it is necessary for us to consider
more and more.
In
conclusion, we must not waste valuable time of our life. We should live so as
not to regret. Actually, I’m looking forward to getting old.

will become twenty years old in 24May. I will become age to be able to drink
liquor also, twenty years old is the age that the right to vote is given. I
think twenty years old is recognized as an adult in Japan so I will be adult

people die someday. All my houses are Christians, so I believe in God. However I

things which we can do. In Japan, children who are 5 years old cannot enter to
elementary school. People under 16 years of age cannot do a part-time job. People

cannot drink alcohol. In addition we get old and we grow and get some abilities.
When I was 8 years old, I have played the piano but my fingers did not reach
one octaves. Now my fingers can reach. Before I enter to the elementary school,

experience these, I did not get some abilities and I did not a lot of people so,
I am looking forward to do these from now on.

everyone will dislike glowing older. I want to young forever because when I
getting old, maybe I feel that my health is getting worse for example become
rough skin, blunt motor nerves, maybe fall out hair, one’s eye sight get worse
and become hard of hearing. It is very inconvenient that the body stops moving.
It is also difficult for movement to become impossible and to do some shopping.
A possibility of being injured may become hurt and may become sick. I try to
work out and eat healthy because I in order to stay young. I try to go to the
gym every day, sometimes play ping pong in UAFS and I play baseball every week
in J.F Oberin University. But I enjoy spending in my life now, so I do not
think far future. Hey everyone, let’s enjoy in your life.

I’m afraid to getting old. I think I will not have
a time. I will be twenty years old next birthday. When I will be twenty years
old, I will be able to drink alcohol and smoke. But I don’t want to drink
alcohol and smoke. Because alcohol and smoke are harmful to your health. When I
work to company, I will not have a time. So I think I don’t want to spend time
on trifles. I will get worse my eyes and get worse leg and waist and lose my
hair. But it is not just a bad thing. I feel old people impresses us as a man
of great character. For example, it is polite, they have a lot of knowledge and
they have a kindness. However a lot of
bad things than good things. So I don’t want to get old. I would like to spend
a good time in my future.

Also I learned many words today such as advertising,
proclaim, contribute, exhaust, racism, sophisticated, dominate, phrase. I will
make a sentence using these words.
Racism became a big program in the world.
Advertising begins when I open the YouTube
on PC.
I proclaimed to do volunteer activity at
the school three month ago.
I contributed to the volunteer activities.
He is always exhausting to many people when
he speak in front of an audience.
There are many people who is sophisticated in
the world.
He dominated the world in the movie.
Usually Japanese people are watch out for
