In Japan, I think we have a wonderful
polite than those of any other country. We care “boss-subordinate relationship”
anytime, anywhere. We have language that is “SENPAI” and “KOUHAI” in Japan.
Those means are language of express in each other’s relationship. “SENPAI”
means people who is older than me. “KOUHAI” means people who is younger than
me. If person who was “SENPAI”, we have to use honorific. This is a Japanese
common style. But since I came to America, I don’t feel differences in age. I think
this is fine as it is, and everyone say “Hi!” that is common in America. But
Japan is different. Japanese poor verbalize own feelings, so we always bow in
an obsequious manner. I think a Japanese are really shy but, we have caring
feelings to anyone. Also I don’t forget caring feelings anytime, anywhere. I
think these are good point in Japan. But I like a American polite style, because
so casual.
