Asignment#28

Japanese has a lot of courtesy called “Keigo”. When we talk to people who are new people or people older than me, we use Keigo all time. Also, as we speak in front of audiences, we use Keigo all time. This is very different from America, but English has courtesy like “Could you ~?” or “Would you like ~?”, too. However, in informal, American use casual expression to talk with a new person or a person older than me. Therefore, I feel that Japanese word is so beautiful but not friendly.

Another polite behavior is a bow which Japanese say “Ojigi”. This is used, when you want to express appreciation for someone`s action. I think this action is the most famous Japanese etiquette in the world because Japanese soccer player “Yuto Nagatomo” use Ojigi in Italy, when he get a score. Maybe, the most of European people know this act because of him. In Japan, Ojigi is very important to be polite.
