Blog Assignment #59 by Kanae
Today, I’m going to write about TOEFL. I took
a TOEFL last Wednesday. This was the second test after I came to the America. I
was not informed of the first test beforehand, so I can’t prepare. So we came
to the America and took a test immediately. I was informed of that we are going
to take the second test after a week. However, I didn’t prepare, because I wanted
to know my real English ability. Now, I study in America. I study English every
day. I hear English every day. I write English every day. So I had confidence
with English then before. However it was a mistake. TOEFL was very hard for me.
Therefore I was not able to answer all of the question. I felt that my English ability
didn’t grow up very much. I was able to know it by this test. I have to memorize
English words.
I thought that the reading was a little easy
than the writing. The reading was more fun than other questions!
I return to Japan, I want to take TOEFL again
after study English enough.
As TOEFL includes many academic words, it is essential to learn these words to get a good score I guess. What part was the easiest for you?
