Hello, my name is Rasila Soumana Hama; I am a senior Biology major here at the University of Arkansas Fort Smith. I am originally from Niger, West Africa and French is my first language. I am not much of a sports person, but i enjoy running, reading, cooking and sometimes knitting. I also love travelling, visiting new places and trying new things. I have two younger sisters, one who is 18 and a senior in high school and the other is 14. My parents moved a lot so i had the chance to visit a lot of countries in West and central Africa. My goal is to visit all 50 states before graduating from medical school. My dream job would be to become a WHO Representative somewhere, preferably in Africa. This is my last year here, and i intend to enjoy it as much as possible.
ReplyDeleteHi. I’m Alisa Terasaki. I’m from Kanagawa to Sagamihara. My hobbies are nail, listening to music and basketball. I often kind of listen to music EXILE, AAA and Avril Lavigne etc. And I sometimes sing their music. Last year I went to LIVE for EXILE with my sister. I bought many LIVE goods, for example T-shirts, frag and poster etc. It was very fun. My sister likes EXILE too. My families are 5 members. I have two sisters. One sister is high student other sister is elementary school student. My sisters name are Yukari and Erika. I like basketball. I was joined basketball club when I was junior high school student. My position was center. And I sometimes play basketball with my friends and sister. Also I like watching basketball game too. I want to play basketball in America. And I want to go to anywhere in America. For example it is New York and Disney Land.

My birthday is September 26 1994. they are five people in my family. I have mother, father, elder brother and little sister. Mother and father are junior high school teachers. My brother has a job at bed company so he lives in Osaka. My little sister is a first year high school student. Her high school is same my high school. I have been played table tennis since I was 10 years old so I belong to an table tennis club team. I want to see a musical on Broadway so this time, I want to go to Broadway. I live with my parents and one brother. I love my family. I resemble my mother. My character is very talkative so I like talk with my friends. My hobby is playing the “Sansin”. It is Okinawan musical instrument. I like Okinawa. I belong to club of Okinawa. I dancing Okinawan traditional dance twice on the week. It is cold “Eisa”. It is very interesting. The sea is close from my house so I always hanging out to there with my dog. I working part-time job at supermarket in Tokyo. My major haven’t decided yet but I’m going to decided English major. My hobby is dancing kind of hip hop. I was joined to dance club when I was a senior high school so I like dance. I also like listening to music. I always listening to music for example, bath time, in the car and studying so I coming to want to dance when I hear music anywhere. My family looks like a friend. I have a sister that she is 23 years old and so kind. She work at nursery school so she like small kids. Both my parents are 48 years old. They always walking for health because my father will be flat these days. We often go to trip so I want to go to various place in America.

DeleteHi, my name is Minami Suyama. Please call me Minami. I'm from Tokyo in Japan. I'm 19 years old. I go to Obirin University in Kanagawa. My house is far a university. It takes about 2hours to go to university, so I get up early every morning, but I usually oversleep. I play Baton Twirling when I was junior high school student. I participated in baton national tournament. My hobbies are watching soccer game, running, listening music. My favorite soccer player is Uchida Atuto. I like everything about him and really cool. My favorite singers are Selena Gomez, Bruno Mars, Katy Perry, etc… When I’m in my room I always listening there music. There are six in my family, father, mother, two old sisters, young brother, and two dogs. So my house is busy every day. DeleteHi, my name is Yuriko Yagi. I am from Japan. I am a university student at Oberlin. I come to University of Arkansas Fort Smith for studying abroad. My hobby is playing tennis and listening to music. When I was junior high school student and high school student, I belonged to tennis club. Now, I go to play tennis school in Japan. My favorite tennis players are Kei Nishikori who is from Japan and Andy Murray who is from Scotland. They are a highly skilled tennis player, so it is nice that I watch their game. They also are kind person, so I like them. My favorite singers are Avril Lavigne and Sonar Pocket. Avril Lavigne is very cute and has beautiful voice. I like “smile” best of her song. I want to speak English more, and I want to make a lot of friends. So when you see me, I want to be talked too friendly to you. I hope this short term overseas study become good experience!
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately we don't have a tennis court on campus, but we have other places where you can play tennis. Also, the easiest way to learn English is by talking to Americans. Don't be shy, and try not to speak Japanese. I am sure your experience here will be great.

My father is good at play baseball and mother likes drinking alcohol and sister is nurse. My family is funny. My hobby is playing baseball and watching movie. Actually I'm not good at English so I must practice hard. ReplyDeleteYou know what, I didn't speak any English at all when I came here, so that's not an issue. Just try not to be shy and talk with Americans, they are very helpful. Also, try not to speak Japanese while you are here.

DeleteHi, my name is Marika. I belonged to light music club in my high school. Then I was in charge of the guitar and vocal. But it is very difficult for me to playing the guitar. I like playing the piano rather than guitar. Piano is self-education. A result, both bands has disbanded at about the half of second in high school. My favorite sport is tennis and basketball. I played soft tennis when I was junior high school. I really interested in western music such as Taylor Swift, Bruno Mars, Miley Cyrus, Ariana Grande, Selena Gomez, Jonas Brothers, One Direction and so on. So, my hobby is listening to music. That is always makes me happy. I like the American culture so I want to more learn a lot of things about here. I would like to travel around the world as much as possible because I really interested in foreign countries. I want to international with a lot of experience.

It is David, please remember the name and call me David. Anyway, I like to play and watch soccer, and I want to travel to another countries. I have been to New York of America and Cairns of Australia. I want to work at tourist enterprise in the future that is why I want to go abroad a lot. When I went to New York last summer, I could not hear, speak and write at all. So I came here to improve my English skills with my friends. However, I would like to go to study abroad after this semester. For that, I have to study here much more and make many friends! And one more, I like to listen to music which is not Japanese. DeleteHi, my name is Shuhei Yamashita. I am from Kanagawa in Japan. Kanagawa is next to Tokyo, but it is not many people, so I like Kanagawa. My birth day is August 16 during summer vacation. Summer is my season, but I hate the heat. My hobby is driving and customizing a car because when I was a child, my life was always with cars. I'm really into drifting. Drifting is Japanese culture because Japan is cradle land of drifting. People in other countries sometimes come to Japan to do drifting, so I want to speak English. Now, I am studying English in America. I want to be famous drifting driver all over the world because drifting is not popular motor sports. I set the vogue for drifting all over the world. I will be to work at the least automotive job. I decide I get into English skills on the occasion, totally.

ReplyDeleteToday, I took part in volunteer at Fort Smith Cleaning house. I packed foods into bags. There was a wide variety of foods. For example cans, noodles, jelly, cookies and apple jam. I was surprised at a wide variety of foods because I thought one or two kinds of foods. I have taken part in volunteer in Japan but I have not ever packed in volunteer. I met Bob who is working there and I heard his talk. He said these are going to be given for children and cancer patients. I could learn all kinds of situation from his talk so this time was important for me.
ReplyDeleteToday I took part in volunteer at Fort Smith Clearinghouse. I met bob. Bob introduce to us clearinghouse. There was a lot of food, for example, apple jam, jelly, cookie, rice, noodles, oatmeal. Noodle is made in japan. Name is maruchan noodles. We packed food in to bag. We made over 140 food packed. Everyone very early. It was over in no time. Food is hand out to children and cancer people. I went to volunteer for the first time like this. I think volunteers are a good thing. I would be happy feeling. I want to volunteer more. Today’s volunteer is good experience.
