I’m going to introduce my favorite video on
YouTube. This video is “Frozen” and this music is “For The First Time In
Forever”. This music is sung in Japanese, but this isn’t mere Japanese. This
language is Koshu-Ben. Koshu-Ben is a dialect of Yamanashi. Yamanashi is my
hometown. The video which Japanese sang “For The First Time In Forever” in Japanese
various dialects is contributed to YouTube a lot. Even amongst those, I like
this video the best. Because it’s the language of my hometown. Koshu-Ben give
me a nostalgic feeling. In addition, the current news is included in this
video. On February 15, 2014, it snowed hard in Yamanashi. Usually, snow doesn’t
fall there. However, much snow continued falling from morning on that day, and
my father’s car was buried under snow in an instant. It was piled up to 143
centimeter. This news is included in the song lyrics. It’s interesting! So
please watch this video!
Very funny. There seems a lot of version of this movie. I could find Nagoya version(my hometown!) Dialects reminds me my hometown. Especially this one is funny in the latter part. Was your house okay at that time??
Oh my goodness, that is so much snow! I think it would take a long time to melt. Do the words in Koshu-Ben match the same meaning in English?
