assgnment#48

I only have about two weeks of my life in America left.
When I first came here, I was confused at the difference between American culture and Japanese culture. Americans are friendly, so when they meet other people, they say “Hello, How are you?” not only to friends, but also strangers. Of course, Japanese people say that to friends, but they do not say it to strangers. The first time I was greeted this way by a stranger, I was happy but I could not think of what to say. However, now when I am greeted by a stranger, I can answer naturally.
I do not know if my English has improved or not since I came here, but I can definitely speak to other people with more confidence. At first, I worried about my English grammar, so I did not speak to other people, but now, I am not afraid to make English grammar mistakes.
I have not changed dramatically since I came here, but I have experienced a lot of things that I could never experience in Japan.
